What is Tyvek?
Tyvek® is a responsible solution for storage and protection of valuable object. It is generally used to pack and transport artefacts and allows for air circulation while doing so. Tyvek® is non-woven, 100% high density polyethylene (HDPE), breathing and available on roll.
Tyvek® 1623E is not water resistant. This variant is made of a non-woven which is perforated to have a softer finish and additional air circulation.
What are the differences between both types of Tyvek®?
We offer both Tyvek® 1442R as well as Tyvek® 1623E. Both variants are made of the same materials with the difference that Tyvek® 1442R is not perforated and has an increased resistance against water penetration.
